Hair Braiding Instructor Course Syllabus

 

**Course Duration:** 4 Weeks (2 Classes per Week/ Monday and Wednesday.)

**Class Duration:** 2 Hours per Session (11 A.M- 1 P.M or 5:30 P.M- 7:30 P.M)

CLASSES START ON APRIL 14 AND WILL END ON MAY 7TH.

 

**Prerequisites:** Basic knowledge of hairdressing and basic hair braiding techniques.

- To develop instructional skills for teaching braiding to others.

- To enhance understanding of hair types and their specific needs for braiding.

- To cultivate creativity and confidence in students for designing unique braid styles.

#### Class 1: Hair Braiding Fundamentals

- Overview of the course and expectations.

- History of hair braiding and its cultural significance.

- Introduction to different hair types and their characteristics.

#### Class 2: Basic Braiding Techniques

- Demonstration of basic braids: Three-strand, Fishtail, Dutch, and French braids.

- Hands-on practice: Students practice basic braiding techniques.

- Discussion on common mistakes and troubleshooting.
